  • Jean-Michel Bertrand (1943-2008), former MP for Ain, born in Baccarat.
    François Gény (1861-1959), lawyer, born in Baccarat.
    There are two different statues within the lateral naves:
    Saint Remy and a Virgin and Little one (Our Lady of the Offering) by François Brochet.
    Aimé d'Artigues (1778-1848), the recipient of the glassworks in 1816 by
    the addition of two lateral our bodies in 1817. It was used as housing for the directors
    of the crystal works from the center the 19th century. Its approach was established by Aimé Gabriel d'Artigues.
    Chapel of Our Lady of Humbépaire (1948) is illuminated by 20 stained glass panels by Gabriel
    Loire, a carillon of 6 Paccard bells is put in in the belfry.
    The Chapel of Saint Christopher (12th century) has some statues.
    The park was bisected by an open avenue in the 1st half of the nineteenth century and a part (positioned to the west of the orangery) was subdivided in the final
    years of the nineteenth century for the construction of the
    Workers' City.

  • Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
    There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
    She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but
    I had to tell someone!
